Biography:

 Mariam has been working in the mental health sector for the last fourteen years. She is a licensed psychologist and has experience in working for an NGO, counselor, youth leader and creating and delivering workshops.

MSc in Applied Psychology from Kingston University London

BSc (Honors) in Psychology from Edinburgh Napier University accredited by British Psychological Society

Recognition:

 In 2012 she was selected to represent Bahrain in the prestigious “International Youth Leadership Program” in United States in their program “Preventing & Confronting Domestic Abuse and Violence”. Mariam was elected as a committee member of the Middle Eastern Psychological Association (MEPA) in 2017 and re-elected in 2019 as General Secretary.  Mariam currently serves as Director of The Mepa Bahrain Chapter.  She was awarded the “Top 50 Smart Healthcare Leaders Award” in recognition of her contribution to Healthcare in the November 2018  Mariam was selected and featured on WOW WOMEN a platform which tells the extraordinary stories of women around the world in January 2019. In March 2019 Mariam won the “Bahrain Women Achiever’s Award 2019” from the Royal Hospital for Women & Children.  Mariam received an IFAH Award in 2020 for her work in Mental Health. She was selected as Vestire Women of 2020.

Biography

Background:

Born in Hong Kong and raised in numerous parts of the world including Canada and Thailand, and educated both in the U.K. and U.S., Carmen brings forth a set of international experience. 

Beliefs:

Having nearing ten years of experience within the field of psychology, Carmen believes in the power of working together in finding what works best for you. Every individual is unique and she aims to assist those to seek their own potential to live their own lives to its fullest.  We all face challenges and it is only normal that we may sometimes need assistance in building stronger understanding of ourselves.  Carmen's international exposure has led her to believe the importance of acknowledging different cultures and understanding different perspectives. All of which are crucial elements in providing effective therapy that caters to each unique individual.  

Specialty:

Carmen's main area of expertise is working with children and adolescents, but she has full training to work with a range of problems including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression and autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

Biography:

Loluck Baby, is an Educationist with twelve years of experience dealing with challenges education management, parenting, adolescence and student success in higher education and career. 

Qualifications:

Mr. Loluck completed his Certificate in School Leadership & Management (CSML) from Harvard University, PGD in Education (Coaching & Mentoring) from Middlesex University, MPE (Exercise Physiology) from SAI-LNCPE, Trivandrum, Kerala, India. 

Experience:

Mr. Loluck training spanned the areas of psychometric assessments focused on higher education & career planning. Mr. Loluck is an expert in SEL (Social & Emotional learning) for children, supporting and guiding parents and educational institution in student enrichment planning and execution. Mr. Loluck has also worked with students preparing for Gap Year, competitive sports and examinations to prepare effectively and stress management. 

Specialty:

Mr. Loluck approach as a consultant and coach tends to bring out the hidden potential in students, engaging parents through active conversations and activities. Having worked extensively with people from diverse backgrounds, always strives to engage with clients in a supportive and non-discriminatory manner. 

Mr. Loluck is the author of ‘Rawchamps – Responsibly Adventurous World Champions’ – A book on Social and Emotional Learning for youth and parents.

With over 16 years of experience across India, Europe and the Middle East, Dr Sahana blends science with empathy in her counselling approach. Dr. Sahana has a background in developmental psychology and believes that every child, couple, and family deserves a safe space to heal, grow and thrive.

Dr. Suzanne’s journey spans education, corporate HR and university leadership, but her true passion lies in helping people navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their strength.
